Jaana is an textile designer from Finland. She works mainly with textile art and pattern design.

Jaana gets inspiration from a variety of sources, in everything that can exalt her senses. She is fascinated by Nature as well as urban life and has a passion for local cultures, materials, music and art. She believes in curiosity as the main drive for creativity.

Jaana combines in her textile works contemporary and the traditional textile design. In her works the focus is on colors and graphic compositions which are always very carefully considered. She hopes to find a point of intersection between the familiar and the extraordinary.

Jaana creates prints that fit a contemporary interior. Posters explore the world of geometric and organic shapes combined with colors. She loves to experiment with different patterns, shapes and colors. She simplify pictures and shapes until the line feels right. The diversity of organic and minimalistic shapes makes every design unique and yet timeless.

Jaana's main objective as a designer is to make products that would give joy for a long time.
